Sarah Willard Couture

A Look Back At 2014

Sarah ShorttComment

2014 was the most amazing year at Sarah Willard Couture. We had the loveliest of brides, who wore not only dresses from our collection, but who also ordered bespoke creations that indulged our creativity. It was a pleasure to create for all of them.

And we were honoured to craft the uniform for the current High Sheriff of Staffordshire, tailored in navy blue velvet  and piped and bound in silk.

Our outfits have been worn to a garden party at Buckingham Palace, to the races at Ascot and Goodwood, and to weddings here in the UK and around the world. Our machines have been whizzing away and we sewed for miles! We have sewn for little children too and even a frilly collar for Poppy the Doodledog! And we used more fabric in 2014 than ever before!

In addition we took part in five inspirational photo shoots, some of which have already been featured on some of the most influential wedding blogs.

And to cap it all we have won an award in the Wedding Industry Awards, we're Best Dressmaker Designer for the West Midlands! Later this month we attend the national finals at the Cafe de Paris in London.

So a huge thank you to everyone who supported us in 2014. We have some exciting new developments in 2015 that we can't wait to share with you, and we wish all our customers past, present and future a prosperous and Happy New Year.
